I was thinking of trying Diablo 4

Is Diablo 4 worth it just for the main campaign? I've never played a diablo game before and thought I'd give Diablo 4 a try because the intro looks shitty. I don't really care about "end of game" or anything because it seems the main point is to equip so you can equip more gear, which allows you to equip more gear until you become the king of the universe. huge waste of time.


I'm more interested in the story, the battles, and how the classes play against each other. I don't care about the price, it can cost $200 for 2 hours of content for everything I care about but what I want to know is if those 2 hours are worth my time because when I start the game play, I still have to finish it. if that's the biggest pile of shit ever. As someone who has only really played and enjoyed competitive multiplayer games over the past decade, I bought Diablo 4 thinking it would be fun to play with my friends.


However, I find myself most enjoying playing alone, getting into the story and playing throughout the game, which is important to me because I haven't enjoyed things like this in YEARS.


Personally, I'm excited about the end of the game and getting to work with my friends once I've played through the story, but I have to admit I haven't been there yet, so I can't speak to complaints. complaints from everyone. It can only be said that this is an eternal kingdom and I guess the new seasons will bring new story elements as well as new gameplay, keeping players interested no matter what kind of game you like.


Maybe a different endgame perspective for you: a lot of people like to play meta or "strongest". I think that's your mentality, I imagine that mulling over for hours just to get a small percentage increase would be tedious and repetitive.
