How is DD Ignite performing after all the bug fixes

How is DD Ignite performing after all the bug fixes? Is it still a viable choice for a league starter in the upcoming league? I assume Elemental damage is now the preferred option to compensate for the lost damage. Is Replica Ember still the recommended choice over Blackflame? I played DD Ignite as an Elementalist for my second character during the previous league, and it remains a strong choice.
